Sound Tips
Site Interview for System Design
When
we come out to your facility we want to listen to you and find
out your objectives. No two groups have the same objective,
facility, acoustic environment, or personnel. Your organization is
distinct and a couple of boxes of equipment
- System A or
System B - is not going to do the job effectively. A
sound
system is not a catalog item that allows us to pick a number or even a
design out of thin air. Following are the considerations we will ask
you about, test, survey and consider when tailoring a system
to
your organization. We want to know all your concerns before we develop
a plan. Even so, a sound system is a considerable investment -
15-20 years potentially. It is normal to make revisions and refinements
until we are able to provide you with a definitive system design to
meet your goals. One of the things you should notice is that we spend
almost as much time educating our prospects as we do suggesting
solutions. We will adapt the issues, vocabulary and principles of
system design and use to your experience level. The more you
understand, the more you can help us satisfy you.
